A Parness Company CPA Preparedness for the COVID-19
Dear Clients, Colleagues & Friends,
A Parness Company CPA is closely monitoring the information available to us relating to the COVID-19 outbreak. Our highest priorities are to protect the health of our families, friends, clients and the people close to them while we maintain the highest level of professional service and support possible.
Continuity of Service
Being a “tech forward” firm has been helpful over the years. Now these software programs are being put into further use as our entire team will begin working remotely beginning Monday March 16th until further notice.
We have the following plan in place:
- Secure remote office functionality as supported and expanded by our IT firm.
- Cloud based payroll services will continue through our portal system; employees will continue to be paid via direct deposit.
- Cloud based accounting services will continue as will our system of reviewing banking and credit card transactions via our existing software and processes.
- Accumulating tax and accounting data and distributing tax returns will continue through our portal system. Those of you who are not able to connect this way will be able to schedule a specific time to drop off or pick up information.
- All appointments with our team will continue via video chat with the screen sharing you have come to love. Those of you who are not able to connect this way will be able to communicate via telephone, emails and prearranged drop off’s. No in-person appointments will be held until further notice.
- We will continue to prepare and file all tax returns according to due dates via the IRS and State efile systems.
- We will continue to share important information via social media outlets and email blasts such as this one.
Please know that we place safety above everything else as our office continues to function as usual.
